Strength and Conditioning T/Th, 7/8th grade

The next session of Strength and Conditioning for 7th & 8th grade boys and girls at In Pursuit Fitness Training starts October 7. Each session will include 25 minutes of strength training and 25 minutes of conditioning.
At In Pursuit we teach the youth proper technique and then challenge them to "lift heavy." Of course "heavy" is relative but the idea is to learn how to progressively overload the muscles for strength training. Additionally we will use our "MetCons" (metabolic conditioning) to increase our engine and learn how to compete (individually and as a team) at a high level.
If your athlete has any special sport-specific considerations, is currently in season, or has any individual needs/preferences, I'm happy to have a discussion and accommodate.
NOTE:
Due to my football coaching schedule, the first three sessions will be from 4:15-5:00pm (October 7,9,14). From October 16 through the finish the sessions will be 4:15-5:15pm. I will do my best to send email reminders each week.
