Strength and Conditioning

In Pursuit Fitness Training is excited to offer Strength and Conditioning for youth athletes this fall. This 4-week program is for 6th and 7th graders and meets on Mondays and Thursdays right after school: 3:15-4:15. 

Each session is typically split 50/50 - we begin with a warm-up and then do about 20 minutes of strength training followed by 20 minutes of conditioning. This fall many of the athletes will be participating in basketball or other fall sports so we will adjust our lifting accordingly. By that we mean ‘lift heavy’ still applies, but it’s just not as heavy as during off-season lifting.
