Strength and Conditioning 7th grade, M/W 4:15
The next session of Strength and Conditioning for 7th & 8th grade boys and girls at In Pursuit Fitness Training starts December 8. Each session will include around 25 minutes of strength training and 25 minutes of conditioning.
We will be having class for two weeks and then take two weeks off for the holiday break and resume in January. If your athlete is interested in sessions over break, please reach out or talk with other parents and we will try and put something together (12-2:00 has worked in the past).
At In Pursuit we teach the youth proper technique and then challenge them to "lift heavy." Of course "heavy" is relative but the idea is to learn how to progressively overload the muscles for strength training. Additionally we will use our "MetCons" (metabolic conditioning) to increase our engine and learn how to compete (individually and as a team) at a high level.
