Strength and Conditioning 7/8th grade M/W

The next session of Strength and Conditioning for 7th & 8th grade boys and girls at In Pursuit Fitness Training starts January 7 and going for 7 sessions (through January). Each session will include around 25 minutes of strength training and 25 minutes of conditioning.

At In Pursuit we teach the youth proper technique and then challenge them to "lift heavy." Of course "heavy" is relative but the idea is to learn how to progressively overload the muscles for strength training. Additionally we will use our "MetCons" (metabolic conditioning) to increase our engine and learn how to compete (individually and as a team) at a high level.

If your athlete has any special sport-specific considerations, is currently in season, or has any individual needs/preferences, I'm happy to have a discussion and accommodate.
