COVID-19 is forcing many people to work and even workout from home

The Home Workout is of course nothing new in the fitness world. But the recent outbreak and public health concern of COVID-19 has encouraged and even forced many people to work from home, which probably means your workouts need to be done from home also. I manage a corporate fitness center in Madison and although the building is still open, the Fitness Center has been closed for the foreseeable future. In many aspect of life, we all need to adjust.

But our fitness cannot take a back seat in times like this - we still need strong people, we need to keep our habits and routines, we just need to adjust. Now is a great time to start building your home gym.

Introducing In Pursuit

Where fitness belongs in Oregon... on Main Street

This month I am opening my first training facility in my hometown of Oregon. As I put all the pieces in place, I wanted to take an opportunity to let all my people know about the new business. In Pursuit offers:

  • One-on-one personal training memberships

  • Small group training (no more than 8 per class) memberships

  • Online training

  • Corporate fitness consultation and implementation

Membership-based training

Operating as a personal training studio, the facility is not a typical gym. All memberships have personal training sessions included at various monthly rates (depending on how many sessions you want per month). Members who have trained with me before can expect my signature training style with additional fervor and value now that my name is on the door (tomorrow’s email: What makes In Pursuit the best choice for fitness). 

New members can expect to hire a Best of Madison trainer to be their full-time coach and primary resource to reach whatever health and fitness goal you have. The studio is equipped with cardio equipment, a power rack, barbells and dumbbells, a hex bar, TRX, medicine balls and of course kettlebells and battle ropes. All of the other tools of the trade you’ve come to love (and kinda hate) with Hans’ HIIT training will find their way to your training session.

As you read this letter, I am currently accepting clients. While I continue to connect all of the digital assets, the website is a work in progress but the main details are in place.

Training is scheduled to begin at the end of January. I’ve been working hard at my brand, my business, and now my facility for quite some time. Today I begin a new season, building the best product I’ve ever built. We are all training to be our best selves. As you consider your fitness, I want to be your coach. But no matter your decision, when it comes to your health let me be crystal clear: always and forever In Pursuit.
